LetteraPortraits composed from your own words
Lettera · New Baby

Hello, little one

The first weeks with a newborn blur together, which is why writing them down matters. Lettera composes a baby's photograph from a letter to them, their birth story, or the wishes of everyone who loves them already.

Write the facts as well as the feelings: the date, the time, the weight, the weather, who was there, what you thought when you first saw them. One day they'll want every detail.

How it works

  1. Choose a photograph. A clear newborn photo; sleeping faces work beautifully.
  2. Add the words. A letter, the birth story, or wishes from family.
  3. See it first. Composed privately on your device.
  4. Choose an edition. The Digital Edition ($24) or the Master Edition ($39, recommended), both delivered the moment you purchase. A framed edition is coming soon.

Questions

Is my baby's photograph uploaded anywhere?

No. It is composed on your own device and never uploaded.

What should I write for a newborn?

A letter starting 'Before you were born…' and ending 'and now you're here'. Or collect one wish from each grandparent, aunt and uncle.

Is it a good gift for new parents?

Yes, though you'll need a photo from them; ask once they're settled in.
