A love letter, made visible

Some letters are read once and kept forever. Lettera lets a letter live on the wall, composed into the photograph of the person it was written for, so the words become the portrait.

How it works

  1. Choose a photograph. A portrait of the person the letter is for, or the two of you together.
  2. Add the words. Type or paste the letter. Old letters, new letters, letters never sent.
  3. See it first. Your portrait composes in seconds, privately on your device. Preview it in full before you decide.
  4. Choose an edition. The Digital Edition ($24) or the Master Edition ($39, recommended), both delivered the moment you purchase. A framed edition is coming soon.

Questions

Can I use a handwritten letter?

Type out its text. The portrait uses the words themselves, set in a refined serif.

Does the letter need to be long?

Longer letters give finer detail. A few paragraphs is ideal.

Will anyone else read my letter?

No. Your words and photograph stay on your device while the portrait composes.
