LetteraPortraits composed from your own words
Lettera · First Dance Photo Art

Your first dance, in your words

The first dance is often the photograph couples love most: the room fades and it's just the two of you. Lettera composes that photograph from words, so the moment is held by the story behind it.

Write what the photo can't show: what you were thinking, what you whispered, who was watching, why that song was yours. Your own account of the night is the most personal text there is. We don't add song lyrics; the words are always your own.

How it works

  1. Choose a photograph. Your first dance, with both faces clear.
  2. Add the words. Your memory of the night, your vows, or a letter to each other.
  3. See it first. Preview it privately before deciding.
  4. Choose an edition. The Digital Edition ($24) or the Master Edition ($39, recommended), both delivered the moment you purchase. A framed edition is coming soon.

Questions

Can I use the lyrics of our song?

Song lyrics are usually under copyright, so we suggest your own words instead: the story of why the song is yours, what you remember of the dance, or your vows. Mentioning the song's title in your story is a nice touch.

Does it need to be a professional photograph?

No, but sharp, well-lit faces matter. If your photographer took it, check their terms for personal printing.

Is this a good first anniversary gift?

Yes, it pairs naturally with the paper anniversary.
